The Kardashian family went into lockdown following Kim Kardashian West‘s robbery on Oct. 3 when masked men stole millions of dollars worth of jewellery from her apartment at the No Address Hotel during Paris Fashion Week. However, they’re starting to return to their routine.

On Tuesday night, Khloé Kardashian made her first major public appearance since the scary incident – launching Good American denim line. Although Kris Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian were on-hand to support their family member’s new endeavour, the Kardashian matriarch revealed that Kim would take her time coming back into the spotlight.

“It’s a process,” Jenner told E! News. “One day at a time. It’s a process.”

Jenner, 60, shared that Kim is focusing on spending time with her two children, 3-year-old daughter North and 10-month-old son Saint, while she’s simply “doing what a mother does” by making her feel protected with loves ones around.

Malika Haqq and Khadijah Haqq, close pals of the Kardashian sisters, asked that fans continue to keep the 35-year-old reality star in their prayers as she continues to reco

“Nothing about the situation is easy and – you know, it – it would be tough for anyone to go through,” Malika told PEOPLE. “So, we’re – we are protective of her privacy and – and just being comforting to her because it – it’s hard. She’s going through a hard time.”

Khloé, 32, clearly wasn’t taking any chances in the wake of the robbery. She and her mother entered the event at The Grove in West Hollywood, California, flanked by a beefed-up security team.

Kourtney, 37, opted to skip the entrance but posed for photos with her sister in a more private area.

Khloé was the first member of the reality star family to speak out about the robbery, in which Kim was reportedly held at gunpoint, during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that aired last week.

Khloé admitted Kim is “not doing that well.”

“I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her,” said the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star. “But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together, and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support and it will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her.”

A source tells PEOPLE that Kim “is still having a difficult time.”

“She has zero desire to resume her old life,” says the insider, adding that for the most part, she remains at home in Los Angeles.
