Kris Jenner has weighed in on claims the Kardashians and Jenners have “ex-communicated” Scott Disick from their family.

Paper Magazine sensationally claimed the Kardashian/Jenner clan had cut off Scott after ex-girlfriend Kourtney tied the knot with Travis Barker in May this year.
“Ever since Kourtney got married, he doesn’t spend as much time with that whole group. He’s been kind of excommunicated because the priority is Travis. He had to regroup who his relationships are,” a source told the publication.
However, Kris has since denied Scott, who shares three kids with Kourtney, has been “ex-communicated” from their family.
“Scott will NEVER be excommunicated from our family….he’s the father of my grandchildren and a special part of our family… we love him and not true!” Kris wrote on Instagram under a screenshot of the original article.
Kourtney and Scott had a turbulent off-and-on relationship from 2006 to 2015. Despite both moving on romantically, they continue to amicably co-parent their three children Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, seven.
The since-debunked claims Scott had been ditched by the family didn’t come as a huge surprise after the father-of-three spoke about the distance he felt between himself and the Kardashian/Jenner clan.
On the first season of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the family threw a barbecue and chose not to invite Scott.
“Feeling left out and not being told anything is super hurtful, especially when I don’t have another family to go to,” Scott said on the show.
The 39-year-old said getting over Kourtney was “probably one of the most difficult things in my life” but acknowledged she had the “right to despise me and the way I treated her, because it was horrible.”
As fans would know, Scott has remained close with the tight-knit family in the years since his split with Kourtney, even while moving on with different women.
Scott dated Sophia Richie for nearly three years, and is currently in a relationship with model Hanna Cross.
Meanwhile, Kourtney couldn’t be happier with Travis, whom she started dating in January 2021 following years of friendship.
