Actress Krysten Ritter has welcomed a baby boy with her long-term boyfriend Adam Granduciel (his real last name is Granofsky).

According to the birth certificate obtained by TMZ this morning, the Jessica Jones star gave birth at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre on July 29. The couple is said to have named their bundle of joy Bruce Julian Knight, with many speculating their son’s name could be related to the star’s Marvel Comics connection. Others believe he was named after Bruce Springsteen, who Krysten has long been a fan of.
The Breaking Bad star announced she was expecting her first child at the Oscars in February, showing off her baby bump while walking the red carpet with The War on Drugs’ musician.
The same evening as the Academy Awards, the TV star posted a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption, “surprise”.
Since breaking the exciting news to her fans, Krysten has kept her fans on Instagram in the loop, regularly showing off her baby bump to her 1.2 million followers on Instagram.
Although the couple are extremely private, Krysten told ET Canada in June that she couldn’t wait to be a mum!
“Yeah, it’s a big one, I’m so excited about it. I think it’s so perfect and I just feel so blessed with the timing of everything. Playing Jessica has been such a highlight and such an amazing thing in my life. It’s been almost five years.”
“This is something I really wanted to do, also, so I feel like the stars have all aligned perfectly. I feel really lucky,” she said, pointing at her baby bump.
