Kyle Sandilands is set to return TV screens nationwide on NineGo! with the pawn shop reality series Meet The Hockers.
Sandilands, is known for his confronting nature on his radio show alongside Jackie O, but the KIIS FM announcer might just have to be filtered in this new role.
The 45-year-old will take a step back from being front-and-centre of the show and will take responsibility, as a narrator on what is said to be an Australian take on the global series Pawn Stars.
While fans are used to Sandilands’ explosive antics, an insider from Nine tells the Daily Telegraph that he’ll be watched closely as one incident could encourage publicity “the network could do without”.
A Nine spokeswoman since voiced that his management would deal with any scandal generated by Sandilands while the show is on.
“(His manager) Andrew (Hawkins), who also produced the show, will be the point of contact with regards to any media issues,” the spokeswoman said.
Sandilands previously appeared on TV as a judge on talent shows such as Australia’s Got Talent and The X Factor.
