Kylie Jenner has taken to social media to confirm that she as quit writing posts on her app after “a very personal post” was published by someone other than herself.
The post which was a personal note regarding her relationship with her rapper boyfriend Tyga, 27, caused controversy as the revelation suggests that the Kardashian sisters aren’t always posting their content themselves.
As a result, Jenner has taken to Twitter to address the situation.
Fans have since taken to Twitter to share their disappointment as the app’s user-experience promises authentic personalised content from the famous siblings.
In September 2015, the Kardashian-Jenner sisters launched their apps in partnership with Whalerock Industries, a media company which develops digital content for celebrities.
The five sisters appeared together at the Apple store in Soho and reinforced their personal contributions to the app. “I was up until 3:30 last night torturing the Whalerock team,” said Kim Kardashian West at the time. “Making sure everything is perfect.”
Jenner, 19, was the sister who immediately received the most success with her app which features a mixture of blogs, fashion advice, beauty tutorials and intimate family moments.
