After facing a barrage of criticism for posting a photo wearing real mink fur slippers while discussing the millions of animals who’ve died in the Australian wildfires, Kylie Jenner has since been more receptive to her fans’ feedback.

Yesterday afternoon, the 22-year-old reality star turned billionaire shared a stunning photo of herself sitting in front of her fireplace with the caption, “find ur fire 🔥“.
While most were focusing on Kylie’s bright yellow hair and her interesting outfit choice, many Australian fans gently reminded her of the tragedies currently unfolding in our country.
“If anyone needs fire.. you can have ours— Australia,” one Instagram user commented.
Clearly recognising that her comment could be deemed offensive or insensitive, the mum to Stormi Webster— who boasts 156 million followers on the platform— quickly altered the caption to “Night out” and deleted the fire emoji.
Her clever decision to avoid another scandal comes after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum was labelled a “hypocrite” by many of her angry followers. Just moments after lamenting the deaths of over a billion animals who’ve died in the wildfires currently consuming our country, she shared a snap showing off her Louis Vuitton real mink fur slippers.
Understandably and not surprisingly, the makeup mogul’s decision to wear animal fur after expressing her heartbreak about the bushfire crisis left fans less than impressed.
“Kylie Jenner was really on her story crying about animals dying in Australia and then proceeded to post a pic of mink fur slippers IDK about that one,” one confused Twitter user wrote.
Another said: “Seeing Kylie Jenner post about the koalas being killed by the fires in Australia followed by a picture of her wearing mink sandals on her Instagram story really made me realize the extent to which the Kardashian family’s stupidity reaches.”
“Kylie posting her mink fur sandals right after her koalas dying post is peak fake woke behaviour I f*****g hate to see it,” a different fan Tweeted.
Meanwhile, her half-sister Khloe Kardashian is also embroiled in a similar scandal. Last night, an eagle-eyed Instagram follower of the KUWTK reality star reposted a picture of Khloe’s 2019 Halloween costume— in which she dressed as Cruella De Vil— accusing her of wearing real fur.
“Oh my God, 500 million animals have died!” Which is what, a few less than for your fur coats and accessories, @khloekardashian?” the user captioned the post which included a snap of Khloe in her outfit alongside an Instagram story she’d uploaded about the devastation these Aussie fires have caused.
After the post went viral, the mum to True Thompson weighed in on the accusation, insisting her look was faux fur.
“I am wearing a Halloween costume. It’s not real fur. But keep spreading your vile hate instead of focusing on real issues,” Khloe commented. “Why must people assume and attack so quickly? You have some clear frustrations darling and they are completely misdirected. My advice to you would be, don’t attack people in general.
“But if you choose to waste your energy on attacking a complete stranger then at least know all of your information prior. Happy 2020.”
In spite of her harsh response, the social media sleuth proved Khloe was blatantly lying after proving the designer of the outfit admitted she was wearing fox and mink.
