Even Hollywood heartthrobs can be self-conscious from time to time!
Liam Hemsworth has revealed to E! News that he was nervous about undressing in the film The Dressmaker, admitting he even starved himself to prepare for the role.
“I didn’t eat for weeks,” the 26-year-old Australian-born actor confessed. “I did some push ups in my trailer. Anytime you’re going to come out and take your top off, it’s good to do a couple of push ups.”
Leading up to filming, Hemsworth admitted, “[There were] lots of sleepless nights. It’s very, very difficult to just come out and take your clothes off.”
However once filming was complete, the Hunger Games star quickly resumed eating again.
“I ate a lot of chips after that day, actually,” Hemsworth, who usually follows a vegan diet, admitted. “I wanted to go anywhere with burgers and fries.”
