Liam Hemsworth’s road to Hollywood success began at Baker’s Delight in Melbourne, the actor revealed in an interview with Fitzy & Wippa on Tuesday.
Liam is one of Hollywood’s most in-demand young male actors, being only 26 and having films such as The Hunger Games, The Expendables 2 and most recently Independence Day: Resurgence, under his belt. So it makes it hard to believe that he began his journey as a baker.
The actor also revealed that his second job was shining pins at a bowling alley. “My first job was a baker,” he said. “I made bread at Baker’s Delight, then I worked at a bowling alley.”

The Hunger Games star is close with his family and grew up in Phillip Island in Victoria. Liam is seen quite regularly coming back to Australia and was most recently spotted spending time with on-again/off-again girlfriend, Miley Cyrus, in Byron Bay in April. He was back in Sydney earlier this month to promote his new blockbuster film, Independence Day: Resurgence.

From baker, to pin shiner, to Hollywood success… This Australian heartthrob proves that it doesn’t matter where you start.
