Today Show host Lisa Wilkinson has taken to Instagram to post a touching tribute to her two sons, Louis an and Jake FitzSimons on their birthday.
“Huge happy birthday to our two beautiful boys born on the same day two years apart. All grown up now…and the best of mates. #soproud,” The mother of three captioned the snap.
“PS. And if only Billi had arrived on her due date (instead of four days early) I would have had three babies all born on the same day two years apart… Just like their dad, who was born on his older sister’s second birthday. Freaky, huh?”
Wilkinson, 56, shares two sons and daughter Billi with Peter FitzSimons.
Earlier this year, FitzSimons, 55 opened up about his almost 25-year marriage to Lisa Wilkinson in an interview with Mamamia’s Mia Freedman on her No Filter podcast.
The author said that although while their marriage isn’t perfect, they have “a bloody good relationship” that “just felt right.”
“We don’t have 365 blissful days a year. I say we have 50 blissful days a year, 300 pretty good days and 15 shockers,” he said.
“But as we have got older, no joke, 15 shockers are now down to three shockers.”
