Sony has finally released the first trailer for Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Little Women and it’s breathtaking!
Set in the 19th century following the end of the US Civil War, Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scanlen take on the roles of impoverished sisters, Jo March, Meg March, Amy March and Beth March, while Timothee Chalamet, Laura Dern and Meryl Streep will play Laurie, Marmee and Aunt March.

While there’s plenty of hype around the new trailer, many viewers have taken exception to British actress Emma Watson’s poor attempt at an American accent.
the Little Women trailer looks great but please stop casting Emma Watson in anything where she has to do an accent

Little Women has been my favorite book since I was little and I think the 94 version is lovely. I love all three books in the series and one of the first things I bought for my new house was a framed quote from the book. I’m really scared Emma Watson’s accent is going to ruin it.
