The Logies has been hit by controversy after Jessica Marais was listed as the only female to be nominated for a Gold Logie.

Six television personalities have been nominated for the TV Week’s industry prize and Australian TV’s highest accolade.

Marais, 32, goes up against last year’s winner, The Project’s Waleed Aly, his fellow colleague and funnyman Peter Helliar, Family Feud presenter Grant Denyer, Doctor Doctor actor Rodger Corser, and Molly telemovie star Samuel Johnson.
