Season two of Love Island Australia will be premiering Monday, October 7.
Yep, that’s less than two weeks away, so start preparing yourself for all the drama that’s to come!
Former Bachelorette star Sophie Monk will return for hosting duties, as will the show’s hilarious narrator, Irish comic Eoghan McDermott.
Channel Nine has also enlisted a group of beautiful people for the dating show, including 27-year-old babe Cassie Lansdell.
Born and raised in London, the musician moved to Sydney six years ago after falling in love with the city.
Cassie will be joining Nudist blogger Gerard Majda as a contestant on Love Island. Read on to find out more about her.
Cassie joined Love Island because she loves Australians and is excited to get to know some Australian men.
“I’m at the stage now where I’m kind of over partying every single weekend. That’s why I want to meet someone so I can settle down. I still want to go out, but sometimes I just want to have fun nights in and go for nice dinners,” says Cassie.
She works as an EA for Dyson but is also a singer, musician and poetry writer.
Cassie has had three boyfriends and says her last relationship a toxic one that ended in heartbreak.
“He really broke me. That was a year and a half ago, we broke up three times,” she confessed.
Cassie is looking for someone who is confident and sure of themselves.
“I also want someone who is silly and 100 per cent themselves and not second guess what they are saying to me,” she says.
The singer is excited to find someone who suits her, but admits she has “so many different personalities.”
“I’ve got my random one, a wild child vibe. Then I’ve got the real sweet and innocent, cute girl personality who will literally do anything for anyone. I have my ‘don’t piss me off personality, then I have my fun side, I can be really silly. Then I can be serious and talk about intellectual topics. It depends what mood you get me in.”
Sounds like a recipe for drama!
Tune in to the premiere of Love Island at 8:45 pm Monday on Channel Nine.
