There’s less than a week left of Love Island Australia’s third season, and after weeks of drama, we’ve been left with very few solid couples.
We’ve watched as Aaron and Jess’s adorable, blonde romance fell apart over a boob-slip, watched Chris and Zoe fall more and more in love, and felt Mitch grow on us as he proved his worth to our favourite Islander, Tina.
While Ryan and Lexy seemed strong, Casa Amor saw heads turn and the remainder of the villa have been left in disarray as Courtney regretted her re-coupling when things with Noah failed to take off.
With three final bombs coming in at the last minute, not everyone has had a chance to form as strong connection, meaning we can definitely pick the solid couples from the rest. And we’re definitely ready to know who wins the cash and a new partner in the process.
There’s a coveted tip in the world of reality TV that’s seen us guess the winner of shows like The Voice, The Masked Singer, and The Bachelor over the last few years.
While nobody likes a spoiler, the accuracy of sites like BettingPro at naming the winner rarely wavers, and we’ll usually find ourselves chucking a quick Google search to see where our favourites (or least favourites) are sitting among the pack.
Love Island is slightly different, as it’s only filmed a week or so ahead of time, rather than a few months, a la Survivor and Bachie. However, the powers of the Australian betting odds rarely fail us.
Currently, and to our great delight, Tina Provis and Mitch Hibberd are currently in the lead, with odds paying $1.20.
And while the Australian audience adores rugby player Taku Chimwaza, his second-place odds with Michela Louis show a big jump, paying $5.
Coming in third are Zoe Clish and Chris Graudins, who have knocked Aaron Waters and Jess Velkovski out of the way, paying $15.

‘Titch’ (Tina and Mitch) definitely seem to be a strong couple, which has come across to fans of the show.
They had a bump in the road at the very beginning, when bomb Emily chose to couple up with Mitch, essentially stealing him away from Tina. However, Mitch’s feelings for Tina remained strong, and he broke things off with Emily in order to return to her side.
When they were reunited after Casa Amor, Mitch physically ran to Tina, who leapt into his arms for a big hug.
They were also treated to a private date this week, where they toasted to their relationship, and Mitch gifted Tina an adorable beaded bracelet.
Footage of the date was shared to Instagram, sending fans into a frrenzy.
“Both of them being able to open up and trust each other melts my heart,” wrote Rachael Evren, a former Islander who left the show a few weeks ago.
“Titch fever is high 🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️,” another fan added.
“I LOVE , WINNERS RIGHT HERE” another wrote.
“Please let them win easily the best and cutest couple,” said a third.
Vote #1 Mitch and Tina!
