Alexis Bledel known for her roles in Gilmore Girls, Mad Men and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants has become a mum, her rep has confirmed.
According to multiple sources, the couple welcomed a baby boy earlier this year in the northern hemisphere fall.
While working on the Gilmore Girls revival coming to Netflix later this year, Alexis’ co-star Scott Patterson spilled the beans to E! Online.
“It was great to see her. She’s really blossomed as a woman and now she’s a proud new mother and married and happy.”
“We’re comparing notes because my son is about a year and a half older than her young son. I’m showing her photos and videos and what to expect. We’re just really enjoying each other’s company.”
Alexis and Vincent join a growing list of celebrities choosing to keep their pregnancies under wraps. Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling recently announced daughter Amada Lee had arrived before any bump watching had started.
The pair even appeared on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January, without a hint of a baby bump.

Bledel and Kartheiser met on the set of Mad Men in 2012 when Alexis played a small arc on the show. According to the show’s creator, the chemistry between the pair was palpable, although they didn’t start dating straight away.
“I told Vinnie that they would be great together. I was like, “Don’t blow it!” Honestly, they’re a really good match. They’re both very down to earth, with a sense of responsibility and strong family ties.” Matthew Weiner told the New York Magazine.
The actors wed in 2014 in a private ceremony.
