Taking to Instagram, the mum-to-be shared an array of photos from her picnic baby shower that she hosted with partner, Neil Goldsmith.

“Thank you to our wonderful family and friends for joining us to celebrate the imminent arrival of our little Biscuit,” she captioned the post.

“So lucky to have you all as future babysitters.”

And whilst Carly glowed in a flowing blue maxi dress that flaunted her bump, eagle-eyed fans noticed that her MAFS co-star John Robertson was in attendance with his partner Kenicha Hatten.

Carly and John met whilst filming the fifth season of MAFS that aired back in 2018. Whilst Carly was matched with ice-cream businessman, Justin Fischer and later had a relationship with co-star Troy Delmege, John came back for a second shot and was partnered with journalist Melissa Walsh.

Though their MAFS relationships didn’t end up going the distance, fans were pleased to see that their friendship had endured.

“Good to see you looking so well Carly and great to see John on the pics, hope he’s happy and well,” one commented.

“Lovely photos. Good to see John in here too. Good luck,” penned another.

“Congrats @carlybowyer and I love the fact that @john_robertson_1962 is there,” remarked a third.

Carly, who is due to give birth this month, has also kept her fans informed on the good, bad and ugly sides of pregnancy.

In one of the photos shared from her baby shower, the former MAFS bride was snapped sprawled out casually on a picnic rug with her guests standing around her.

One fan even remarked: “Omg the 4th picture of you laying down is my fave!!”

Ever the relatable mum-to-be, Carly responded: “Haha I couldn’t stand anymore,” followed with a crying with laughter emoji.

In a previous post, Carly highlighted that though she is grateful to have a baby on the way, she thinks it’s “important” to share the good and bad sides of pregnancy.

“Don’t get me wrong, I count my blessings everyday that we’ve been this fortunate to have our Biscuit on the way. I’ve definitely been lucky compared to some, and I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat for our boy,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

“But I think it’s important to share all sides to pregnancy. Try not to compare yourself because it’s not always glamorous or a beautiful experience like you often see on social media. So anyone out there who is struggling – I totally feel you! You are not alone. You’ve got this Mama.”
