Elizabeth Sobinoff was focused on keeping the peace during her second stint on Married At First Sight. However, when discovering her co-stars Michael Goonan and KC Osborne have been secretly dating for more than a month, she refused to bite her tongue.

Now, after taking some not so subtle jabs at the new couple, KC has addressed Elizabeth’s accusation Michael is only with her to make his ex-wife Stacey Hampton jealous, confirming this couldn’t be further from the truth.
“One thing that has rattled me is seeing what Lizzie had to say about my relationship with Michael. We were friends the whole way through that experiment and I really liked her so it’s disappointing to hear her say Michael is only with me for revenge and that I’m a bad friend because I was close to Stacey in the experiment,” the poised and collected bride said during an emotional video posted to her Instagram story.
The burlesque dancer went on to admit she never planned to fall in love with Michael and entered into the relationship with the purest of intentions.
“The first time I met him for a drink was a month after the show and he was with a girl at that point. I didn’t plan this and I didn’t set out to hurt anyone’s feelings. I don’t form armies and I won’t be saying nasty things about other people.
“It’s disappointing to hear people say that our relationship is for revenge when I’m genuinely happy and I’ve found someone I want to be with,” she concluded.
Her heartfelt and lengthy video comes after Elizabeth said just hours before Michael and KC went public with their relationship that she’d be pretty annoyed if the rumours were true.
“If KC and Michael are together, I will be very disappointed in each of them, because KC was very friendly with Stacey when filming, and Stacey confided in KC a lot,” the reality TV veteran said during last night’s episode of Talking Married.
Lizzie also predicted the party boy’s feelings for KC would most likely be disingenuous, arguing he’d be rushing into a new relationship for all the wrong reasons.
“I would also say that I would think that would be more of a revenge thing from Michael to get back at Stacey. So hopefully they’re not together.”
Obviously we now know her worst nightmare came true, with the loved up couple confirming with New Idea yesterday that their relationship is moving at a rapid pace.
“It’s love. We have one hell of a journey ahead of us – everything is on the table. We even moved in together last week,” said the Adelaide entrepreneur who runs his family’s commercial ice business.
“I think KC would be the best mum. A little dancing pop star! We are excited to start the next chapter,” said the party boy who caused quite the stir on this season of the experiment.
“I have no regrets. I loved filming the show and everything it taught me. I learned so much from Drew and even though I didn’t find love on the show, it led me to find love now and I couldn’t be happier,” KC added.
