On Wednesday night’s episode of Married at First Sight, Melissa Lucarelli fought back tears as she told her co-stars that her seemingly loving ‘husband’ Dino Hira had recorded a private conversation she’d had with her sister in the middle of the night.
Now, Mel has lifted the lid on what occurred before their explosive on-screen fight, claiming their relationship actually unravelled after Dino began taking digs at her while she was choosing an outfit.
“He was saying things to provoke me like, ‘If I walked past you on the street, I wouldn’t look twice at you if I walked past you on the street,'” she said.
OUCH.
Mel also claims dino said, “After what I heard you saying to your sister, there’s no way I could be attracted to you,” she claims he admitted.
Although the pair tried to sort through their differences after the fight off camera, Mel says Dino decided to add more fuel to the fire by bringing the issue up three days later, while the cameras were rolling.
At the dinner party, their relationship took a turn for the worst when Mel explained that she caught her TV husband secretly recording multiple conversations she had over the phone.
‘I’m so done. I am so done. I am so sick of this,” she said, before screaming, “Dino, Just own what you did! This is bulls**t.”
Although Dino tried to diffuse the situation an enraged Mel wasn’t having a bar of it.
“I am so disappointed! I actually thought this was going to be it for me, I put my heart out there and I think love wasn’t in the cards for me,” she told producers as she sobbed.
Yikes! Things aren’t looking good for the once happy couple.
