It looked as though Stacey Hampton took Michael Goonan’s side last night amidst the cheating scandal he was embroiled in, however, it’s clear the soon-to-be lawyer has changed her mind about the controversial groom.

Appearing on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning, the stunning Married At First Sight bride tore into the successful businessman after she listened to his nasty takedown during a segment on the breakfast programme five minutes before she went on air.
“Who goes on radio and says ‘it was a good three months, I had my clown suit on and was ready to go’?” the furious star said, confirming she’s cut ties with her ex-husband. “I was there to find love, like, what the hell? He made a complete mockery of me. It’s so embarrassing.”
Going on to discuss Michael’s affair with Hayley Vernon— which occurred while she was in Adelaide sending time with her children— Stacey revealed never before heard details about their boozy night out, admitting he was bad-mouthing her every chance he got. She also claimed he worked very hard to win Hayley over despite the fact he said she was “disgusting” and “not my type” during last night’s episode.
“He was telling Hayley he could buy her designer bags and treat her better than David ever could. Meanwhile, I’m sitting at home watching Stan and eating Uber Eats just waiting for my husband to come home.”
The irate mum-of-two continued: “He kept saying to me, ‘let’s hang on, I’m here for love, I will give you the show of your life’. That’s not what marriage is like. I shouldn’t be treated like that. I signed up to find love, and it’s clear he was just trying to get famous. It’s just appalling.”
Stacey discovered the dad-of-one had cheated on her after Mikey Pembroke spilled the beans on what happened the night she was out of town. And while she said she couldn’t trust anyone in the experiment, she found an ally in Mikey. Unfortunately, their friendship came to a sudden halt when he randomly claimed he slept with Stacey.
“I can confirm we did have sex, but it was clearly after Natasha and I had agreed with producers that our relationship was over, and Natasha knew we weren’t together,” Mikey told News.com.au on Monday. “I actually didn’t want this (story) out as it’s not the best way to end my time on the show, but it did happen.”
“Mikey looks like my son, there’s no way,” Stacey told radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O. “He is not my type. What happened was I was in Adelaide when he hooked up with Hayley and no one told me what was going on and I was all alone.
“So Mikey reached out to me and asked to get coffee because he wanted to tell me what Michael was saying about me all night. It was nothing more than that,” she insisted.
