Martha Kalifatidis says she regrets her friendship with Married At First Sight co-star Jessika Power after watching her scandalous affair with Dan Webb play out on national TV.
“Knowing what I know now, I feel like an absolute twit defending Jess because she was quite ruthless in the way she went about what she did,” Martha told 9Honey Celebrity.
Her revelation comes after she accused Jess’ brother Rhyce of using her for fame when photographs of them emerged of them spending time together.
“He’s opportunistic… yeah he was all over me like a rash hey? If he was the last man on earth I still wouldn’t [date him]!” she said of the construction worker, who returned fire by calling her a “a fake Kim Kardashian wannabe.”
But of Jessika cheating on her husband Mick Gould, Martha admitted, “Like I did stress to her, ‘There is a right way to do this and I think you should tell Mick and just be clear with Mick because Mick would be so happy if you said you wanted to leave and you were done with him.’”
Instead, Jess and Dan remained in the competition to grow closer to each other, not their spouses.
“Hindsight is a beautiful thing. Looking back you really see and understand things a lot clearer. I think I could have been a bit more stern with the advice that I gave her and the fact that it’s wrong.”
