Perhaps you haven’t heard, but Mariah Carey is a Diva with a capital D. Want to buy her a birthday present? You best be picking things from Scrooge McDuck’s shopping list, i.e. silk, caviar, diamonds, and more diamonds. But we may have finally found something Mariah loves more than her uniform of a mega-carat necklace paired with lace-trimmed lingerie, and that’s posing in both those things while aboard her yacht cruising through Italy.
On Friday morning, the singer par excellence was living the good life, boating around the coast of Ponza, Italy at dawn listening to her own greatest hits when she decided this moment was too beautiful not to share with her 3.8 million fans. So beautiful, in fact, that it was deserving of 7 separate shots of herself posted one after the next.
For her impromptu, starboard-side photo shoot, the singer dropped her shades, showing off a substantially sized diamond necklace, a wrist full of stacks of diamond bracelets and a white, lace-edged silk nightie.
But nothing compares to Mimi’s unparalleled ability to turn even the most mundane everyday objects into the perfect high fashion prop; case in point, this stairway banister that she’s wrapped herself around while still making Tyraproud and totally finding her light. And now we can’t get the image of Mariah crooning “We Belong Together” to her diamonds and lingerie as she lays out all of her outfits for the week.
