Mark Beretta has taken to Instagram to share some bad news – the star has injured his leg after a fall during a recent ski trip.
“Not the way I’d planned my wonderful water ski day to end. Fell awkwardly in a slalom turn and have broken my knee cap and torn my quadricep muscle off the bone. Awaiting surgery,” the 51-year-old told his 52k Instagram followers.
He later shared a snap post surgery Royal North Shore.
Beretta updated followers on his journey towards rehabilitation by sharing a video of himself walking. “Rehab has begun. Early ward walk this morning followed by some stairs. Gonna be a long road back but have great support and I’m mighty determined.”
Despite the pain he’s enduring, Beretta has seen the positive side of his hospital stay – by consuming donuts while in bed.
