We were warned from the get-go that multiple cheating scandals would rock some of the strongest couples on this season of Married At First Sight.
WATCH: We have footage of Michael and Hayley getting VERY cosy before the affair
Now, it looks like Stacey Hampton and Michael Goonan’s relationship will be the first to unravel on the series as the businessman just confirmed he cheated on his TV wife.
In an explosive interview with TV Week, the larrikin confirmed he shared a kiss with Hayley Vernon after a boozy night out, however, says they were “just mucking around”.

“We were all joking and having a laugh. We were mucking around with the phone and were like, ‘Oh how funny would it be if this got out?'” he said of the naughty hookup.
“We were fully clothed, just being stupid, being loose, having fun, not really understanding the implications of what rumours can do to your life,” said Michael who initially attempted to reject all involvement in the scandal while the cameras were rolling.
Clearly the 28-year-old hasn’t watched past seasons of the dating experiment because we all know the reputation you garner when you go behind your bride or groom’s back and embark on an affair— Jess Power and Dean Wells can certainly attest to that.

“I swear on my life Hayley and Michael hooked up,” Vanessa told New Idea. “It definitely happened.”
“They were fooling around on the bed and dry humping. Shoes were flying everywhere,” she shockingly added.

According to Vanessa— who dated former MAFS bad boy, Bronson Norrish— the affair took place in her hotel room while Stacey was spending time in Adelaide with her two children.
“Michael walked into our room. He was really drunk and so was Hayley,” Vanessa began. “Hayley said, ‘my husband (David) doesn’t want to f–k me’. And I said, ‘mine doesn’t either’. [Michael] turned around and said, ‘I would f–k both of you’.”
“The morning David found out Michael had hooked up with his wife Hayley the night before, he was absolutely ropeable and he went and confronted him about it,” another source told New Idea. “David is a huge guy, he’s twice the size of Michael and he’s a professional boxer, too – he’s not someone you would want to have an argument with.”

The hot-headed truck driver is said to have spiralled out of control, with the spy claiming he was screaming at Michael and repeatedly calling him a “gutless dog”.
“The producers had trouble pulling him off Michael so one of the girls started yelling out to call the police, but the producers managed to shut the whole thing down.”
Despite clearly being in the wrong and doing the dirty on David, Michael was so shaken up by the confrontation producers decided to send him to a hotel in Paramatta for a few days.
“They never had any security guards at the dinner parties, but after that incident, they brought them in at every one,” the source added.
