She’s been trying to build a connection with her TV groom Mikey, but Sydney businesswoman Natasha can’t help but be distracted by all the gossip circulating about her private life.
EXCLUSIVE: MAFS Natasha’s ex in raunchy footage at famous Sydney brothel
The 26-year-old, who applied for Married at First Sight after a broken engagement to a much older man, even had to involve police in a revenge porn case last week after an alleged sex tape appeared on social media – another struggle in what was meant to be just a different way of finding love.
“It’s literally been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do – and I’m pretty damn resilient,” Natasha tells WHO of the reality show bubble
Is Mikey the kind of guy you’d go for in real life?
Mikey and I have a tonne of mutual friends, so we were quite surprised that we hadn’t met before! Andrew, my ex and best mate, who was at our wedding, doesn’t know Mikey that well, but he knows Mikey’s brother. Mikey grew on me, I’m not gonna lie, so who knows … I probably would go on a date with him in real life.
You mentioned one ex, but you also dated Love Island’s Eden Dally. What’s the story there?
We’ve been friends for years and years, like way before he was on Love Island. We crossed paths and then he was my trainer at F45 and we had a fling. And now, he really has been a bit of a support through this whole process. We’re mates; he’s so excited to be a dad and I just really wish him and Cyrell [Paule]the best.
And what about talk of a romance with Sophie Monk’s ex, Stu Laundy?
Isn’t it the funniest thing ever? I’ve never even met Stu Laundy! We have amutual friend, and I said to him yesterday, “can you please ask Stu why he’s confirmed this and if he’d like to do a meet and greet one day so we can actually meet each other.”
It must be strange reading these things about yourself…
It’s so bizarre. I laugh now, but it took me a little while. You know, “Natasha seen with three men”, and it’s like, “Congratulations Natasha on keeping a functional relationship with exes!” I guess the only stuff that really hurts is the private stuff that’s obviously come from friends or exes.
Have you developed a pretty thick skin since being on TV?
My skin is like a plate of armour. There’s obviously some stuff that has come up at the moment that definitely pierced through that armour … so definitely as the days go by this week, I’m getting stronger because I have to be.
How did you deal with those sex tape rumours?
I’m not going to make a comment, unfortunately.
So your beauty regime got a lot of interest on the show! Would you know how much you spend on your upkeep?
What I talked about happens in a quarter, so maybe $1500-$2000? So that looked like a bit of an extreme list. I was like, “Good Lord, am I that high maintenance?!”
And how often are you getting cosmetic procedures?
I think I get Botox every four months, and filler, probably twice a year. Not every week – which is how it sounds on the TV show! But I pay for all my own beauty products and that’s the important part. Coming out and starting
a business now, I’ve definitely had weeks where I can’t afford things and that’s just real life.
You have been outspoken against bullying online. What toll has being on reality TV had on your mental health?
It’s definitely hard. I am so close to a lot of my castmates, and watching a single mum like Stacey go through the torture she’s going through … I don’t think anyone should have to be as resilient as we’re meant to be.
