Natasha Spencer and Mikey Pembroke decided to write “leave” at last night’s commitment ceremony after agreeing their feelings for one another failed to develop.

However, it turns out there was much more to their shock exit, with the Married At First Sight bride confirming Nine Network producers pushed her off the show. And to Mikey’s displeasure, he was forced to go with her.
“I had to leave, we had to write leave,” the beaten-down reality star said on KIIS FM’s The Kyle And Jackie O Show this morning. “I had a breakdown and really needed to leave for my mental health.

According to Natasha, the pressure to advance her troubled relationship with Mikey along with a number of scandals she found herself embroiled in eventually led to her demise.
“After parents day, I had a panic attack in the toilet with my mum for like an hour and a half. Afterwards, they filmed Mikey coming back saying ‘let’s try and do this’ but I was already too tired. After that, I just shut down. Mikey and I got in a good space and then it was decided it wasn’t good for me to be on the show. I lost it and started crying.”
Rumours they were sent packing began circulating last month, with the finance analyst revealing MAFS producers tried to cohere her into revealing intimate and deeply personal details about her upbringing, despite the fact she said she wasn’t willing to do so on more than one occasion.
“Things happened in my childhood, which I didn’t want brought up. I was just anxious. Childhood trauma is nothing we can control and it was wrong of them to bring it up. I have had a lot of things happen in my past, which were brought up on the show, which is the reason I left.”

The 26-year-old also told the outlet she cracked under the pressure of having to film for a minimum of 15 hours a day. And while their co-stars and MAFS bosses alike were deeply worried about Natasha’s downfall, Mikey, on the other hand, is still reeling about being “unfairly” booted off the show. In fact, he tore into his ex-wife this morning on KIIS, admitting he cut ties with her weeks ago.
After insisting they were unwilling to be in the same room during a KIIS FM radio interview this morning, Kyle Sandilands worked his magic and managed to get the pair to appear on-air together. Of course, it didn’t take long for them to start ripping into each other, with the vicious feud reaching fever pitch when they began discussing Mikey’s admission he’d slept with MAFS bride Stacey Hampton.
“It was four hours after we broke up. We were well over before I slept with Stacey,” Mikey insisted before an irate Natasha butted in, saying: “No we weren’t. You asked me for dinner that night. That’s not true. You’re lying.”

“I don’t want to speak to you,” he said with hatred in his voice. “I am not worried about what people think. I could bring up 65 rumours on what Natasha did during our marriage.”
“I had your back, Mikey,” Natasha screamed. “I called you the day after I had read those text messages between you and Stacey. You said she tried to come to you but it was you who went to her,” she said, referring to Mikey and Stacey’s coffee date which came after rumours began swirling he’d cheated on his TV wife.
Things took a turn for the worse when they clashed over the horrible question Mikey had asked her on their honeymoon just moments after she opened up about her previous battle with cervical cancer. According to Natasha, this season’s larrikin was worried he had contracted it from her and could “pass it on to the next girl he slept with”.
“She spoke to the Daily Mail and said all these lies about what happened during our honeymoon. I thought cervical cancer was a strain of HPV. I was confused, that was just a sexual health question. I am a male, how am I supposed to know these things? I don’t have a cervix.”

“I’m shaking,” said a defeated Natasha who was clearly fed up with going around in circles. “He knows what he asked me. STI testing is compulsory before entering the experiment so I am sure Mikey knew I didn’t have HPV. I think there is a better question and way of asking whether he could pass it on to the next girl.”
She continued: “We are not fine. There’s a lot of stuff that has come out that he has said and I am just sick of it. This is just so toxic, I want to close this chapter and just move on.”
“I am sick of talking to her. I wish you all the best Natasha but you get on my nerves. The amount of shit you talk… Uh,” he said before groaning.
