After a brief hiatus, Poppy Jennings has returned to social media to once again blast Nine Network and her Married At First Sight husband Luke Eglin.

In a savage takedown, the outspoken contestant reaffirmed she’s been speaking to her lawyers about what she can and can’t say, hinting she will reveal what went on behind the scenes at a later date.
“I have seen lawyers so I can say everything I want to say without fear of defamation,” she began in an Instagram Q&A with her followers. “I am working towards being able to tell the truth because it doesn’t sit well with me to shut my mouth over something this serious.”
She also wasted no time accusing the FIFO worker of “gaslighting” her, admitting even his friends and family had been slamming her television husband behind his back.
“I have had messages from his ex-wife, his ex-girlfriend, and someone he works with, all saying he’s a “dick”,” the mum-of-two said. “He gaslighted me completely. I was scared shitless.”
When asked whether her co-stars were aware of the “terrifying” incident which directly involved Luke, Poppy said she “spilled her guts” while filming one of the girls’ nights. However, after becoming emotional and sharing what MAFS showrunners deemed to be damaging information, she was “dragged out” of the room.
“The times I had said what he did on camera was never going to be shown,” she began. “The girls started asking me questions about why I left and I started to get upset on camera. Then I got dragged out, told off, and wasn’t allowed to talk about what happened with Luke because it was too controversial. I could never say my truth.”
She also said producers deleted the scene in which she fought with Luke just moments before deciding to leave the experiment.
“The reason Luke was really crying the day I left MAFS was because I had confronted him on-camera… We had a huge fight and the camera crew burst through the door and I was in the middle of yelling about what went down… none of which you have seen.”
As we know, the photographer also accused Nine Network of covering up what happened, revealing in a Facebook post that they said her portrayal would be altered if she admitted why she really decided to walk out of the experiment.
“I was so scared I was saying sh*t like, ‘this could work’ because they [producers] told me Australia was going to f***ing hate me. F**k, I’d probably hate me too! From what I heard that’s all they play of me!”
“I couldn’t say what was happening behind the scenes as it was too controversial. Why is Luke crying when I left??? Go and ask Luke why I was so uncomfortable????? Why the f**k did I really leave?? He’s petrified I am going to talk. He knows he f***ed up. Those tears from him are for his reputation and job!”
She also lifted the lid on what Luke was really like behind the scenes, admitting he’s the villain here.
“I was matched with someone who cheated on his wife, didn’t live in the same state and wasn’t dad of the year by any means,” the bride said in a lengthy Facebook rant, calling Luke’s character into question. “The experts never met him!!! He was fake on camera and a complete dick behind the scenes! It was infuriating.
“I was uncomfortable with all the things about this person I was matched with that didn’t add up. But I was told, ‘Poppy, on camera and off camera doesn’t exist to the public,'” she said.
