Soon to be lawyer and mother of two, Stacey Hampton, is one of the most well put together Married At First Sight contestants we’ve ever had the pleasure of being introduced to.
However, behind her bleached blonde locks and plump pout is something much bigger— an expansive tattoo stretching across her entire stomach right down to her thighs.
While the stunning and bubbly bride— who recently tore into Nine Network for portraying her as a “gold digger”— is yet to show off her ink, unearthed Instagram photos suggest the geometric design could be a touching tribute to her brother, who she recently revealed during her honeymoon with Michael Goonan died on the day she was set to welcome her first child.
Despite multiple sessions and spending hours in the chair, it’s rumoured Stacey will not be debuting her tattoo on national television because it is far too personal and something she’d like to keep private.
As for everything else in her life, Stacey is an open book! In fact, she even admitted on last night’s explosive episode that she and her husband Michael consummated their marriage on the first night of their honeymoon.
“Yeah, we slept together,” Michael said when asked whether or not they had done the deed on their Fijian vacation, having a little giggle afterwards.
“It’s just so un-awkward, this morning after last night,” 28-year-old Michael said sleepily as he and Stace lay in bed together.
“It feels so real; it was gorgeous.”
“It was lovely,” Stacey laughed, with Michael adding: “It was fun!”
While their candidness was somewhat unexpected, Stacey appears to have warmed to Michael recently. After opening up to the entrepreneur about losing her brother, she said a closeness had begun to grow between the pair.
“The fact that I was able to be vulnerable about my past with him… I felt like I was ready to be vulnerable and establish a physical connection,” she explained. “I felt like it was the right timing, too. Just because, after everything we’ve gone through, I opened up a bit, we had the argument, I felt like that brought us closer, we got through that… so I felt like it was good timing.”
“I’m really starting to see this other side, a softer side,” she had shared the previous day.
“It shows that he’s loving and caring. I feel a lot more comfortable now getting more intimate with him.”
