But no one more-so than her husband, Jonethen.

‘Connie writing leave last night, it definitely hurts thinking she wants to give up. It was hard for me to hear that she isn’t happy. I think it was just so overwhelming,’ Jonethen admitted to producers.

Connie told her hubby that she ‘slept really well’ after the commitment ceremony, and added: ‘Last night was really heavy.’

Talking to his miserable wife, Jonethen said, ‘It’s real hard at the moment. It’s one of those things where I didn’t want you to write leave, but I thought maybe we need something to shake up this whole thing.’

‘I’ve never seen him like this before, it’s pretty heartbreaking him like that,’ Connie told viewers. ‘I had more of less given up hope for Jonny and I, I didn’t want to but…’

Then to Jonny, she asked, ‘Why did you write stay?

‘I write stay because I am still committed to this. I’m still committed to you. I still want this to work,’ he explained. ‘I’m trying to be more sensitive, I’m trying to be more articulate how I feel and how you make me feel.’

Then Connie admitted that she missed her alter ego, ‘Fun-Con’.

‘I’m hoping so badly that all this feedback we have given each other, we do take on board and we do have a fun week. I just miss being fun. I’m Fun-Con, not Bummer-Con. I’ve been such a downer and that’s all I want to do, is just have fun.

‘If something has annoyed me I will try and articulate better.’

‘I’d love that,’ Jonethen smiled.

‘If there’s anything you need me to do, tell me please. If not, write it down on a piece of paper. Or send me emojis.’

Connie told producers that she’s no quitter – despite doing so the night before.

‘Even though I wrote leave, I fight for things I believe in and I believe in us. And I think Jonny kind of feels this is something wort fighting for.’
