Although the teaser trailer fails to give much away, it depicts eight of the unlucky in love contestants slowly strolling through a dark and enchanted forest before they reach and later walk through the “Tunnel of Love”. The clip ends with one loved up couple sharing a kiss while floating into the air and ascending into the night sky.

Of those named, we meet Mishel, Connie, Aleksandra, Mikey, Poppy, David, Tash and Chris.

Here are the lucky brides and grooms we’re introduced to:

Noticeably missing from the trailer was former contestant Elizabeth Sobinoff, who is set to return next year as an intruder. While little is known about her entrance, yesterday the identity of her TV husband was revealed to be Aussie AFL player Seb Guilhaus.

As filming for the dramatic series continues, the loved up pair are reportedly still living together in an apartment in Sydney CBD and continue to attend the weekly dinner parties and commitment ceremonies— where, as we know all too well, most of the drama unfolds.

Despite their budding romance, Elizabeth hinted last week that there’s trouble in paradiseTaking to Instagram, the 28-year-old— who endured an ill-fated marriage to cheating groom Sam Ball— subtly hinted she’d fallen out with her groom when she shared a photo of herself holding a teacup with the caption,  “I need a refreshment with a side of harmony, peace and rejuvenation.”

As more and more information about season seven comes to light, an on-set source recently told the hosts of Hit106.9 that filming was forced to come to a halt after a series of scandals were a cause for concern.

“Apparently, they’ve just started filming again after a two-week break because the producers were just like, ‘this is going too far, we need to resettle ourselves, take a two-week filming break and then work out how we can tackle the rest of the season,'” host Nick said.

While producers of the Nine series are yet to confirm the rumours, speculation is mounting as to what exactly could have caused the break in filming.

“There is heaps more partner swapping in this season,” Nick continued. “Apparently, they’ve needed to check someone in [to a rehab facility] because they’ve gone so loose on the show that they were worried about their mental wellbeing,”

According to the popular radio host, the unnamed cast member’s break down may have been brought on after the couples spent their first night together after the ceremony.
