There’s no love lost between warring Married At First Sight Australia brides Domenica Calarco and Jessica Seracino.

In a show that is all about first impressions, Domenica admits she didn’t like the “vibe” recently arrived Jessica was giving off from the get-go. She’d decided she didn’t like what she saw before they’d even tucked into entrees at the drama-filled dinner party that aired this week.
“I just got this vibe from her immediately,” Domenica, 28, told WHO after the fiery encounter.
“I just thought that she had this real smugness to her, that she knows better and that she thinks it’s my way or the highway. She was coming in here thinking that she knew better when it’s like, ‘Hey mate, you’ve been here two minutes and we’ve been here three weeks so just take a seat.”
The brides got off to a bad start – and it was no better by the end of the long night with Jessica, 27, vowing to block out the pocket rocket who has earned a reputation for telling it how it is.
From the moment she walked into the dining room, Jessica was making it clear to all around her that she and husband Daniel Holmes, a personal trainer from Queensland, were on the rocks.
As Jess shares with the group she had called Daniel “a little b—h”, Dom tells her she’s behaving like a child and the war of words escalates as neither is prepared to back down.
“I just felt as though she really wasn’t open at all to making it work [with Daniel] and when I would try and talk with her to get out of her what exactly the scenario was and what was going on, she couldn’t come up with any excuses,” says Dom.
“It got heated pretty quickly because I was greeted with kind of like a brick wall.”
Dom, whose marriage to Jack Millar appears to be going strong, believes that Jess was not on the show “for the right reasons.”
“I just think she was there to have fun with the girls and have wine at dinner,” she says. “I don’t think she was actually invested in getting to know this man.”
Married At First Sight Australia airs Monday to Wednesday, 7:30pm, and Sunday, 7pm, on Nine Network and 9Now.
