Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle about her “dream man”, the part-time makeup artist said this time in self-isolation has done wonders for their relationship, adding they’ve even moved in together!

“I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot,” she said, adding her boyfriend is a “private person” who’s “not famous or anything”. “Life has been good. I’m staying with my partner, so I’ve been working from his house and it’s been great being in isolation with someone who’s pretty hot.”

The loved up duo made their relationship official a few months ago, with Cathy revealing they started seeing each other post-filming for MAFS.

“He hadn’t known that I was on the show so it just sort of happened really organically after a couple of chats and meetups and it just kind of fell into place,” the 26-year-old said.

While she confirmed she only let her partner watch the drama-free episodes of MAFS— if that’s even possible— Cathy is still feuding with a few of her co-stars.

Speaking about her time on the experiment, the blonde bride said that while producers loved Connie Crayden’s wholesome storyline, she was a different person behind the scenes.

“They didn’t showcase all of Connie. They showed her to be this shy, sweet girl when for us girls, she wasn’t really like that. She wasn’t shy. She had a mean girl motive,” Cathy told Lisa, Sarah, Dan and Ben on their hit90.0 breakfast program.

She went on to shockingly reveal the aspiring marine biologist was non-stop flirting with the other grooms.

“She was always with the boys and stuff. And she always wanted to stay away from the girls because they were a threat to her. She’d be right in the middle of the boys and there was obvious flirting.”

Capping off the interview with yet another jaw-dropping revelation, when asked whether the seemingly innocent and demure bride stirred the pot to get a rise out of her co-stars, Cathy said: “Yeah, 100 per cent.”

This isn’t the only tea she’s spilt in recent weeks! In an explosive interview, Cathy revealed her TV partner Josh Pihlak was the “anonymous source” who was leaking untrue stories about her, hitting back at claims she’s was a paid actress and scored her spot on MAFS because she’s best friends with the executive casting producer.

“It was my ex-husband, he leaked it. What is completely absurd about this comment is that it is absolutely untrue. My best friend Megan is not a casting producer for MAFS,” the furious makeup artist told AB & Ben from Coffs Coast’s HIT105.5.

“She has no persuasion on the editing or how they choose the cast members. She was a runner for the show. I was quite shocked that this article was written about us and I knew who had come up with this information… It was my ex-husband. He leaked it.”
