Just days away from welcoming their first child together, the Married At First Sight star teamed up with New Idea to recreate Demi Moore’s iconic 1991 Vanity Fair cover, baring all while cradling her baby bump in the nude.
In one of the striking portraits, Cyrell was pictured covering her breasts with her hands while proudly showing off her bulging stomach. Expectedly, the elated reality TV veteran and couldn’t wipe the smile off her face, admitting she can’t lay her eyes on their baby boy.
In another photo, hunky Love Island contestant Eden planted a kiss on his glowing girlfriend’s tummy and was then photographed resting his head on her bump while beaming at the camera.
During the jaw-dropping photo shoot, the couple opened up about the highs and lows of their tumultuous relationship, revealing why, after momentarily splitting, they decided to try again.
“We’re focussing on being a great couple together and being great parents to our baby,” said Cyclone Cyrell— a name she earned after throwing a glass of wine on her MAFS co-star Martha. “At the end of the day, most families want to be together and not separated.”
“Because we didn’t have such a bad breakup, co-parenting and working it out together wasn’t something I was stressing about,” she added.
Despite once opening up about the “unspeakable pain and disappointment” of bringing a child into a broken home, Cyrell and Eden said the thought of reconciling was never out of the realm of possibility.
“The breakup was very simple. It was about certain changes I’d like to see within Eden, and Eden wanted some changes with me. A lot of people thought it was so massive and that it was over so many things… it was actually quite catty!”
“When we realised that was more important than us being apart, and trying to make things work, we just decided to do that for one another,” Eden added.
“In every relationship, people always break up and makeup. Cyrell and I have always been close and we didn’t have a nasty break up. We just took a little break. And then we got back together. It wasn’t nasty at all. We’ve always been friends.”
While Cyrell and Eden are stronger than ever, they continue to cop tidal waves of backlash as thousands of nasty keyboard warriors watch and subsequently judge their every move.
Thankfully, the fitness model says he’s learnt how to tune out.
“I just laugh things off now… when I know the truth, that’s all that matters. People can make up their own things and talk about us. I just accept it now and don’t bite into it. I just get on with life.”
He continued: “If it wasn’t going to work out, it was never going to mean I wouldn’t see the baby. We were just going to co-parent – there would have been days I’d have my baby, and days Cyrell would. And days we’d meet up and take the baby out. It wouldn’t have been that different at all.”
