Rumours have long been swirling that Hayley Vernon and Stacey Hampton were at each other’s throats while filming Married At First Sight.

So it’s little wonder the tatted-up bodybuilder has already jumped the gun and started tearing into her on-screen enemy before their explosive arguments play out on our screens.
In an explosive interview with New Idea, the hot-headed 32-year-old claimed Stacey— who was recently spotted screaming at her husband Michael Goonan in public— wrote “stay” at every commitment ceremony purely due to the fact he is a wildly successful businessman and earns a decent income running his family’s business—South Australia’s largest ice manufacturing and packaging company.
“I can’t stand her,” Hayley said viciously. “It wasn’t until she found out Michael had money that she wanted to be with him.
Interestingly, Stacey recently slammed Nine Network for making her look like a “gold digger”, claiming producers intentionally edited a series of clips together in an attempt to push the most dramatic narrative possible.
On another note, Hayley also said the soon-to-be lawyer’s flawless public facade masked her true colours and that will become evident in the coming weeks.
“I think she tried very hard to have this certain image of herself and I think that house of cards is going to come crumbling down.”
The fiery star’s decision to side with Michael over Stacey amid all of this MAFS mess comes after co-star Vanessa Romito confirmed Hayley cheated on her TV-husband, David Cannon, with the entrepreneur.
“I swear on my life Hayley and Michael hooked up,” Vanessa told New Idea. “It definitely happened.”
To make matters even worse, Vanessa revealed it wasn’t just a drunken one nightstand!
In fact, Vanessa said the duo “hooked up multiple times” and started developing feelings for one another at a rapid pace.
“They were fooling around on the bed and dry humping. Shoes were flying everywhere,” she shockingly added.
According to Vanessa— who dated former MAFS bad boy, Bronson Norrish— the alleged affair took place in her hotel room while Michael’s wife was spending time in Adelaide with her two children— who she shares with her Rebels bikie ex-fiance, Shane.
“Michael walked into our room. He was really drunk and so was Hayley,” Vanessa began. “Hayley said, ‘my husband (David) doesn’t want to f–k me’. And I said, ‘mine doesn’t either’. [Michael] turned around and said, ‘I would f–k both of you’.”
While we’re unsure at this point in time how much of the drama will play out on our screens, Hayley didn’t deny getting it on with Michael, however, insisted she wasn’t the one to initiate the affair. Conversely, Vanessa revealed Michael rejected all involvement in the scandal while the cameras were rolling, and even threatened to quit the show when his co-stars caught wind of the rumours.
Hilariously though, Michael is said to have confessed to another MAFS contestant who will probably be required to bring up the secret sandal during one of the many dinner parties.
