Lizzie told a local publication: “There’s nothing to even say on that. I don’t really care for what he says. He tried to be like he was never guilty of anything the whole time. Whatever comment comes my way, it’s not even acknowledged really.”

It comes after Sam commented on her recent weightloss after he called her “big” on their wedding day.

“Health and fitness is huge, good on Lizzie for going down that path and living a healthy lifestyle. It’d benefit anyone! It’ll affect your work life, sex life and mental state. Being healthy is huge on your body,” he said.

But despite her comments, Lizzie is far from over Sam if her comments about him on MAFS is anything to go by.

After a successful wedding on Monday night, fans thought Lizzie and Seb Guilhaus were destined for happiness, but by Tuesday, it all came crashing down.

“I was completely at ease at the wedding. But this morning I’ve woken up and my stomach’s in a mess,” Lizzie said in her piece to camera.

“What the hell did I do this for? I mean, it’s terrifying that I could end up with another Sam. Last year I didn’t even get to go on a honeymoon,” she says, recalling her ex-husband Sam Ball body-shaming, and gaslighting her on national television.

“I think it’s just been really overwhelming with Seb. My trust issues are huge. What happens if he disappears?”

But Seb made a promise to viewers, stressing that he’s no Sam.

“I know that Lizzie has been hurt in the past, badly. I’m just gonna have to prove where I’m at through actions, because words aren’t gonna do anything, ‘cause they haven’t done anything in the past. I’m gonna slowly have to earn her trust.”

Showering his new bride in compliments and affection, Lizzie doesn’t know what to make of a groom that has genuine feelings for her.

“The affection is nice. It’s just scary because I don’t want to open myself up to be heartbroken,” she explained.

On the first day of their honeymoon, Seb decided to surprise Lizzie with a picnic and a visit to a strawberry farm. ‘I thought it would be nice to take you for some strawberry picking,’ he said, beaming.

“Cool,” she replied, dead-pan. “I’m in a strawberry picking place. Strawberries. I haven’t looked at strawberries the same way since what happened last experiment.”

Viewers were treated to a flashback of Sam awkwardly feeding Lizzie strawberries dipped in Nutella last season.

“I had a traumatic experience with strawberries last experiment,” she said.

Seb was confused. “OK, care to elaborate?”

“I was force-fed strawberries. It was not an enjoyable experience.”

Seb felt terrible, telling viewers, “The strawberries really backfired. That was a little bit interesting. I really blew it.”

Next, Seb thought they could have some fun playing ball game bocce.

Lizzie was a natural, and quickly left Seb in her dust. He jokingly accused her of “cheating.”

Lizzie was again reminded that her ex-husband cheated on her.

‘Not that word, again,’ Lizzie said. “I’m trying really hard… but things keep taking me back to bad memories.”

“I’m a romantic at heart even if I fail miserably,” Seb admitted, hoping tonight’s flash dinner might do the trick.

“Seb has been really amazing and lovely. Some of what Seb was doing was taking me back to last year with Sam,” she said, reminding everyone to never have strawberries in her presence, or use the ‘C’ word.

When asked by Seb how Lizzie is feeling about the experiment, she replied unconvincingly, ‘Yeah, I think this is going OK.’

She explained, “I’m worried that you’re going to do something negative towards me.”

He assured her, “I want to be someone that can give you more assurance than you had last year. I want to protect you and be a stable base for you… I want us to enjoy life together.

“I see your qualities and I love your qualities. I can see myself falling in love with you.”

“Seb is amazing and wonderful,” Lizzie admitted. “He makes me feel safe and secure. This is the honeymoon I deserved last year, but with a better person.”
