Although their plans to cohabitate were derailed thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic that’s forcing us to stay inside, Elizabeth Sobinoff and Sebastian Guillhause have reassured fans they’re doing just fine!
WATCH: MAFS’ Elizabeth reveals the truth behind her dramatic transformation
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph about how they keep their spark alive while living in separate states, the returning Married At First Sight bride— who is based in Newcastle while Seb resides in Adelaide— said being in constant communication makes things easier.
“We are on the phone, he doesn’t get a break from me,” she told the outlet. “We talk every hour. It is a full on thing. We talk about everything and anything. The first thing I wake up there’s a message from him and when I go to bed we message.”

The former jewellery store manager, who hasn’t seen the aspiring actor, 32, in a number of weeks, also told her Instagram followers while launching her IGTV channel, Chameleon by Lizzie Sobinoff, that she feels more secure and confident when they speak on a regular basis.

“I am in love. It is a real relationship. We have been apart for three weeks now, which is the longest we have been apart since we started filming in November. We are taking it slow. I am kind of impatient and he hasn’t been in a relationship for eight years so we need to be in constant contact for us to work.”
Late last month, the reality TV duo were confronted with split rumours when eagle-eyed fans noticed they were rarely interacting on social media. Thankfully, Elizabeth quickly cleared the air, confirming they’re still very much in love and plan to live together as soon as quickly as possible.
“People are like, ‘Why are you not at Seb’s place?’ I was there last week but got a phone call that I had to be in Sydney for work. So I left South Australia. I’m now in quarantine. I have to do my work thing and then I’ll have to be in quarantine again [when I go back to Adelaide],” said Lizzie, who has undergone a massive transformation since filming wrapped.
“That’s just life. Coronavirus puts a lot of stress on a lot of different aspects. Yeah, it’s hard. Obviously you have everything to do with MAFS and a new relationship, and then you have to go back and forth. It’s hard.”

She added: “Seb was moving to Sydney, but that’s a lot to get organised and doesn’t happen overnight. He is based in South Australia. I thought I’d be based in Adelaide for the time being but my work stuff is in New South Wales. Coronavirus has [had] a huge effect on a lot of people.”
While she didn’t specify what “work” is requiring her to self isolate in Sydney, word has spread Lizzie has scored a new TV gig with Channel Nine. New Idea insiders say the 29-year-old has been spotted lingering around their studios.
“She’s been going to Nine Studios regularly over the last few weeks to film with them,” a spy told the outlet.
The source also revealed Lizzie— who is said to have been paid $100, 000 for her four-week appearance on MAFS— may have a secret project in the works, saying: “She films Talking Married first and then stays back to film her other project. She’s desperate to become some sort of presenter with them.”
Interestingly, her former best friend and co-star, Cyrell Paule, saw this coming from a mile away, telling WHO she agreed to return to the series in exchange for future work with the network.

“She always told me that at the end of MAFS, she wanted a potential gig with Channel Nine. It has worked in her favour and that’s why she’s returning. Seb wants a career with Nine and so does Elizabeth, so they plan to stick it out, get as much air time as they can and then be the next Jules and Cam.”
The new mum continued: “I also hear Seb is an aspiring actor so he is going to want as much air time. He wants to show Australia that he is doting on her. I completely agree that she’s fake and there for more followers.
