In today’s overly important news, Married At First Sight’s Michael Goonan has confirmed he’s no longer dating Stacey Hampton, KC Osborne or one of the show’s producers!
WATCH: Michael opens up about the mystery woman he’s now dating
Instead, the wildly successful yet undeniably immature businessman has found himself a new woman. And she doesn’t appear to be connected to the experimental dating series whatsoever.
Joining Stav, Abby and Matt in Hit105’s studio, the dad-of-one opened up about his love life, admitting he’s happier than ever to have finally settled down with someone he actually sees a future with.

“I decided that single wasn’t the way to be. I have met someone I am with now and I would take a bullet for her. She is my world and I am really happy,” said Michael who failed to win viewers over after allegedly hooking up with Hayley Vernon during a drunken night out.
He continued: “It worked out for me in the end I guess. I am really happy and it’s a good feeling waking up and going, ‘Wow, how did this all work out for me?”
When asked whether they grab the popcorn, sit down and watch Michael cheat on his TV wife, create drama, cause havoc, and scream at his co-stars, he said she obviously prefers to turn a blind eye and change the channel… duh.

“At times it can be very challenging for any girl to watch that. Imagine going over to your boyfriend’s house, a year has gone by and he’s flicking through pictures of him and his ex on holiday in Bali. You’re going to be like, ‘hey, you get them in the recycling bin. You get rid of them or burn them. Yeah, you burn them.’ No one wants to see that!”
Michael’s unexpected remarks come less than a day after he addressed Stacey’s claims he hooked up with this year’s intruder KC, suggesting there’s no truth to this allegation.
“Everyone keeps asking me if I’m with KC or if I’m not. Honestly, it’s getting fired at me that many times it’s ridiculous. I don’t honestly know where that came from,” he told Nova 100’s Chrissie, Sam & Browny during a radio interview yesterday morning.

Accusing Michael of changing his story again all while calling his bluff, a sceptical Chrissie reminded him of a conversation he recently had on-air in which he said: “I can 100 per cent say I’m with someone from the show”.
Clearly panicking that he’d been caught in a lie, Michael backtracked and then insinuated he was dating one of the MAFS producers instead.
“100% but everyone thinks of the show as being 20 people but there is 200 people that work on that show you know what I mean. You meet a lot of people.”
“So you’re saying you’re seeing a producer? A caterer, a janitor?” Chrissie interjected.
“I’ll tell you this, my partner is absolutely amazing, she’s a wonderful girl,” he responded.
