Despite his outspoken nature and inability to bite his tongue, Michael Goonan has remained relatively coy when it comes to discussing his two-year-old son.

However, after being hounded by fans, the controversial Married At First Sight star revealed a few details about the toddler he shares with his ex-girlfriend.
“I don’t talk about him often— my son’s name is Connor. I’ve kept him well away from all of this nonsense,” the party boy businessman said in an Instagram Q&A.
“He’s an absolute gorgeous boy. He will be nearly be three soon and I love him with all of my heart,” he added.
While Michael, who is based in Adelaide, insists he’s a great father and spends time with his little one, his ex-wife Stacey Hampton alleges this couldn’t be further from the truth.
Speaking about his parenting methods after their split, the law graduate told WHO: “I’m fine with Michael. I just hope he can start being a better dad.
“He never sees his son. I’ve even managed to speak to his son more than him post-show, as my kids miss him.”
While Michael has vehemently denied these accusations and slammed Stacey in the process, it’s become increasingly clear Stacey still harbours resentment towards her now estranged ex.
Yesterday, their MAFS co-star Drew Brauer, unexpectedly revealed the single mother-of-two flew off the handle when she discovered Michael had unexpectedly moved on with her close friend, KC Osborne.
“Stacey blew up for obvious reasons,” the 32-year-old singer told Hit103.5 breakfast show hosts Carly and Seamus. “They had been together and there was obviously still feelings there. She was quite upset about it. That was the start of some stuff.”
The demise of their relationship coupled with KC’s backstabbing behaviour has been a sore point for Stacey, who is clearly still reeling her friend betrayed her trust.
Speaking about the soul-crushing moment the dance instructor asked whether she could date her ex-husband, Stacey said she received the unexpected phone call on the night she sat down to watch her TV wedding air on the big screen.
“(KC called and said) ‘Hey babe, do you mind if Michael and I caught up for drinks, he’s coming to Sydney?'” Stacey explained. “I was like, ‘You can do whatever you’d want, but it’d hurt me. I loved the guy.'”
The breakdown of their friendship was even more painful for Stacey, who says she confided in KC when her affair with Mikey Pembroke fractured her tumultuous relationship with Michael.
“That hurt me the most, that she was there when I was hurting,” she said, adding she often confided in KC about their marital issues.
