After a rocky start and a few intense rows, Stacey Hampton and Michael Goonan agreed last week that they were going to start fresh.

And while it appeared as though the Married At First Sight couple were working tirelessly to put their differences aside, when the cameras weren’t rolling, they were at each other’s throats again.
According to Daily Mail Australia, the duo was caught in an ugly spat in October 2019 after they moved into their CBD apartment together. While it’s still unclear what was behind the brutal public blow-up— which began inside the Skye Suites hotel lobby and eventually spilled out onto the street— Michael is said to have stormed off as a shocked Stacey was left in the middle of the road.
“He was furious and she just stood in disbelief. They shared a few tense words and then Michael left her, walked around the block a few times and sat making a heated phone call,” an eyewitness who watched the row unfold told the outlet.
Apparently, “Stacey just stood there for like 10 minutes waiting for him to come back” however he never did. What’s even more shocking is the fact that there wasn’t a producer or cameraman in sight meaning the argument wasn’t captured for the show.
“I swear on my life Hayley and Michael hooked up,” Vanessa told New Idea exclusively, revealing the bodybuilder went behind her groom David Cannon’s back to shag Stacey’s hubby.
“It definitely happened.”
To make matters even worse, it wasn’t just a drunken one nightstand! In fact, Vanessa said the duo “hooked up multiple times” and started developing feelings for one another at a rapid pace.
“They were fooling around on the bed and dry humping. Shoes were flying everywhere,” she shockingly added.
According to Vanessa— who dated former MAFS bad boy, Bronson Norrish— the alleged affair took place in her hotel room while Stacey was spending time in Adelaide with her two children who she shares with her Rebels bikie ex-fiance, Shane.
“Michael walked into our room. He was really drunk and so was Hayley,” Vanessa began. “Hayley said, ‘my husband (David) doesn’t want to f–k me’. And I said, ‘mine doesn’t either’. [Michael] turned around and said, ‘I would f–k both of you’.”
After discovering Michael had done the dirty behind David’s back, the now enemies began punching on during a heated fight.
“The morning David found out Michael had hooked up with his wife Hayley the night before, he was absolutely ropeable and he went and confronted him about it,” the source told New Idea.
“David is a huge guy, he’s twice the size of Michael and he’s a professional boxer, too – he’s not someone you would want to have an argument with.”
The hot-headed truck driver is said to have spiralled out of control, with the spy claiming he was screaming at Michael. He even called him a “gutless dog”.
“The producers had trouble pulling him off Michael so one of the girls started yelling out to call the police, but the producers managed to shut the whole thing down.”
After the grooms cooled off and David finally calmed down, he did a piece to camera saying, “I’m really angry right now. I’m going to stay in my room because if I see Michael again, I will punch his lights out and he will be a pile of dust.”
