And while many were hoping to see their romance flourish in the next few weeks, their time on the series was apparently cut short.

According to New Idea insiders, Tash and Mikey were sent packing two-thirds of the way into filming Married At First Sight, with the finance analyst since confirming her deteriorating mental health was the reason behind her shock exit.

“I have had a lot of things happen in my past, which were brought up on the show, which is the reason I left,” said Natasha, adding producers coerced her into revealing intimate details about her upbringing, despite the fact she said she wasn’t willing to do so.

“Things happened in my childhood, which I didn’t want brought up. I was just anxious. Childhood trauma is nothing we can control and it was wrong of them to bring it up.”

It’s believed the circumstances became so dire, Natasha— who once dated Sophie Monk’s Bachelorette ex, Stu Laundy— began suffering terrible panic attacks. That’s when she finally knew it was time to pull the pin on her marriage to this season’s resident larrikin.

“I had a panic attack on there because I had a failing relationship and production was pushing me to tell [her husband Mikey’s] parents what a terrible partner he was. I lost it and started crying.”

The stunning 26-year-old also told the outlet she cracked under the pressure of having to film for a minimum of 15 hours a day.

After noticing she was struggling and spiralling out of control, MAFS showrunners knew she needed help and even suggested she should be hospitalised.

“If that happened the show wouldn’t have been able to go to air so [the producers] cut their losses and took her off the show to save the show,” a contestant told New Idea, asking for their identity to remain a mystery.

While their co-stars and MAFS bosses alike were deeply worried about Natasha’s downfall, Mikey, on the other hand, is now reeling about being “unfairly” booted off the show. He also blames the experts for matching the pair in the first place!

“I don’t know how I can be kicked off the show when I haven’t done anything wrong,” he said in the 12-second clip obtained by New Idea.

“I’ve given myself 100 per cent to the experiment… they think she’s not well. Well, it’s like they’ve f–king given me the wrong person. Such a stitch-up.”

As we know, Mikey confirmed he’d split from Tash on February 4, accidentally revealing on Nova’s Fitzy & Wippa that he had no idea where his TV wife was, despite the fact they were set to appear on the morning show together.
