In sad yet expected news, Poppy Jennings and her Married At First Sight husband, Luke Eglin, have officially called it quits.

Showing no sign of heartbreak after admitting she wished she’d backed out of the experiment sooner, the mother of twin boys confirmed their split last week when she was spotted locking lips with a mystery man at The Icon bar in Wollongong.
In photos obtained by Daily Mail Australia, the 38-year-old— who was not wearing her wedding ring—was pictured cuddling up to her new beau as he grabbed her waist and went in for dozens of smooches. Poppy was later photographed draping her arms around his shoulders as he cradled her backside and kissed her neck.
Interestingly, Poppy didn’t seem to mind that dozens of bystanders were watching the couple make out, despite the fact she was attending a screening of MAFS.
Yep, that’s right, she was literally watching herself marry the FIFO worker while holding hands with her new boyfriend.

While we were hoping they’d make it through the experiment, it’s not a huge surprise to learn their marriage couldn’t stand the test of time. After all, Poppy made it clear even before meeting her groom at the alter that she’d made a huge mistake.
“I just keep thinking to myself, what the f–k are you doing?” she said before saying ‘I Do’. “This is the most petrified I’ve ever been in my life.”
To make matters worse, after exchanging vows, Poppy told Australia that she didn’t feel an “instant spark” with hubby Luke. After a candid chat about where they stood, the married couple desperately tried to work improve their relationship during their honeymoon, however it didn’t go to plan.
“Initially I was okay, I don’t know. He’s really nice, you can tell he’s a really nice, genuine person. I’m just not over the fact I left my kids to do this. It’s all come on quickly, and I am really overwhelmed,” she said through tears midway through the romantic getaway.
