On Monday night’s episode of Married At First Sight Heidi and Mike’s relationship takes a sour turn.
Contestants have their family members merge together to explore where they’re at in their relationship.
“I just wish I had a dad”, Heidi whose parents are absent in her life.
Meanwhile, Mike is reduced to tears as he expresses tensions have been boiling between the two of them. “I’m not crying in front of the camera,” he says.
We’ve had bit of a funny week… not good. We’ve been having little arguments and we just don’t know how to communicate with each other.
“It’s been pretty painful,” Mike agrees.
Heidi even admits to her friends and her Mike’s parents that after a fight they “Barely can make it through the next hour.”
“I want us to work it out, but we’re in the worst place,” she adds.
Mike’s mum Michelle is heartbroken, “That is so sad.”
“I was a bit disappointed because I was expecting them to be still as happy as when I saw them last,” she adds.
The couple goes on to admit they’re fighting because Heidi thinks Mike is an inconsiderate partner, before Mike says: “I mean its emotional abuse.”
He then turns to her and says, “In front of the experts in front of friends and family you turn it right down.”
Heidi is quick to disagree. “I don’t know why but you can’t see what you say and how you are to me.”
“Heidi, let’s be real. If this is marriage, I don’t want it – I’m out,” he says.

But perhaps the REAL expert in this episode is Mike’s dad Bob who tells the couple to make a vow to each other, to learn to forget about their bickering past and start fresh.
As a result, Heidi admits she’s glad she did so and all is OK in the world of Mike and Heidi for at least another episode.
