This morning, the 30-year-old spoke about their derailed plans to cohabitate, admitting his relationship with the gorgeous retail manager has suffered yet another unexpected setback.

“Bad news: I can’t see Liz for another two and a half weeks due to Coronavirus,” the personal trainer told his followers in a video uploaded to his Instagram Story.

While he’s missing the love of his life, it’s not all bad news!

Earlier this month, Elizabeth— who is based in Newcastle while Seb resides in Adelaide— said they’re doing well, telling The Daily Telegraph that being in constant communication definitely helps keep the spark alive.

“We are on the phone, he doesn’t get a break from me,” she told the outlet. “We talk every hour. It is a full on thing. We talk about everything and anything. The first thing I wake up there’s a message from him and when I go to bed we message.”

Elizabeth, who recently scored another TV gig with Channel Nine, also told her Instagram followers while launching her IGTV channel, Chameleon by Lizzie Sobinoff,  that she feels more secure and confident when they speak on a regular basis.

“I am in love. It is a real relationship. We have been apart for three weeks now, which is the longest we have been apart since we started filming in November. We are taking it slow. I am kind of impatient and he hasn’t been in a relationship for eight years so we need to be in constant contact for us to work.”

Late last month, the loved up reality TV duo were confronted with split rumours when eagle-eyed fans noticed they were rarely interacting on social media. Thankfully, Elizabeth swiftly cleared the air, confirming they’re still very much in love and plan to live together as soon as they can.

“People are like, ‘Why are you not at Seb’s place?’ I was there last week but got a phone call that I had to be in Sydney for work. So I left South Australia. I’m now in quarantine. I have to do my work thing and then I’ll have to be in quarantine again [when I go back to Adelaide],” said Lizzie, who has undergone a massive transformation since filming wrapped

“That’s just life. Coronavirus puts a lot of stress on a lot of different aspects. Yeah, it’s hard. Obviously you have everything to do with MAFS and a new relationship, and then you have to go back and forth. It’s hard.”

She added: “Seb was moving to Sydney, but that’s a lot to get organised and doesn’t happen overnight. He is based in South Australia. I thought I’d be based in Adelaide for the time being but my work stuff is in New South Wales. Coronavirus has [had] a huge effect on a lot of people.”
