Stacey Hampton’s lips can grow as large as her husband Michael Goonan’s ego in the space of one episode— and now we know why!

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia about her overly plump pout, the stunning mother-of-two denied accusations she received lip filler top-ups during filming, admitting there’s a much simpler and far less painful explanation for why her lips keep changing size!
“My lips fluctuate in size depending on water intake and how I’ve lined and glossed them,” the soon-to-be lawyer explained. “It depends on the time of day, too. Which is why I’ve now decided to remove the filler altogether to avoid the change in size looking ridiculous.”

Since the show hit our screens, Stacey has been sporting a far more natural look, confirming while doing the press rounds on Today Extra, The Kyle and Jackie O Show and A Current Affair that she’d dissolved her filler. She also stripped the harsh platinum blonde from her hair to show off her natural roots.

Although she said she’s finally comfortable and confident in her own skin, the controversial bride has been continuously blasted for her sculpted face, with many MAFS viewers calling her “fake” and “plastic”.
So how does she deal with the constant criticism? Speaking to TV Week, the 26-year-old said she’s able to brush off the hate because she believes people are jealous of all the work she’s had done, hence why they try and bring her down.
“Anyone who says they’re against cosmetic surgery is usually jealous and wished they could do it themselves,” she told the outlet. “My perspective on cosmetic surgery is if that’s something that makes you happy, feel better about yourself and more confident, then do it.”

Stacey— who tragically lost her brother the day she was due to give birth— has discussed what procedures she’s undergone on multiple occasions, candidly admitting before the show aired that she had a nose job when she was 22 after being relentlessly teased.
She also had DD breast implants put in after the birth of her two children, along with a tummy tuck. Of course, like most reality TV stars, she also regularly gets botox and lip injections.
While she’s deeply private about her personal issues, she recently admitted she struggles with body image, confirming her decade long battle with anorexia. According to the bride, her issues with eating stemmed from being ridiculed by her peers in high school.

“I have always had issues with eating and I have always been very skinny,” Stacey told Hit 107’s Bec and Cosi in February. “A lot of people say I don’t eat and I’m too skinny and that’s the same as calling someone fat. It’s so rude.
“I am on medication to help me eat and get my appetite back. It’s due to stress and trauma I’ve been through. I am in the process of gaining weight back because I’m on the scale of anorexic at the moment.”
