There’s a juicy feud brewing between Michael Goonan and Stacey Hampton, and I’m very excited to watch it implode in the coming weeks.

This morning, after confirming she was cleansing her life of all things that reminded her of her ex-husband— including that gorgeous Louis Vuitton Twist MM bag— the mother-of-two took to her Instagram Story to answer a few of our burning questions.
Of course, the main point of concern was whether the soon-to-be lawyer is still on good terms with her Married At First Sight partner, which seems pretty unlikely given her brutal response.
When asked whether she’d give the controversial groom a second chance at winning her over, the newly single reality star aptly replied: “I would rather swallow acid and die.”
While we’re not entirely sure where things fell apart, Stacey suggested in another video that Michael flew off the handle when word spread that she allegedly slept with their co-star, Mikey Pembroke.
“You will see at the reunion that he thinks I cheated on him. Uh, Mikey comes back for 20 seconds of fame instead of 10, so that’s pretty much it,” she said.
Whether or not the affair took place behind the scenes has been a huge point of contention. As we know, Mikey maintains he “had sex” with Stacey after he parted ways with his television wife, Natasha Spencer, saying: “I can confirm we did have sex, but it was clearly after Natasha and I had agreed with producers that our relationship was over, and Natasha knew we weren’t together.”
“Mikey looks like my son, there’s no way,” Stacey said in February. “He is not my type. What happened was I was in Adelaide when he hooked up with Hayley and no one told me what was going on and I was all alone.”
She echoed a similar sentiment in a recent interview with New Idea, declaring: “Nothing happened between Mikey Pembroke and I. No sexual relations. Nothing. I can guarantee that. And I can sit here and swear on anything. I understand where the rumours came from but I swear that Mikey and I have never shared any sexual intimacy.”
In spite of this, many of their co-stars have sided with Mikey, including Hayley Vernon who believes Stacey is in too deep to come forward and reveal the truth.
“Yeah, it’s Mikey,” Hayley said when KIIS FM’s Jackie ‘O’ Henderson asked who Stacey was hooking up with behind Michael’s back.
“Stacey and someone else are pretty much trying to bring Mikey down at the moment and say that, you know, he’s a terrible person, that he’s got a bad character, that he’s making all this stuff up to stay in the spotlight and to totally defame Stacey,” she continued.
“It’s utter bullsh*t. Stacey just can’t stand on her own two feet and cop it on the chin and I’m pretty sure that Mikey’s going to do a lie detector test to prove that he did get a leg over Stacey,” the bodybuilder continued, hinting the truth will be exposed at the upcoming reunion episode.
