WATCH: MAFS’ Steve selling a very private service to fans for only $16
Well, at least that’s what this year’s Married At First Sight star, Steve Burley, has been doing. The 51-year-old recently announced he’s now charging just $16 for a shout out which you can keep for good!
“I have teamed up with an organised called Cameo,” he told his Instagram followers in a video posted to his profile. “If you want me to give you a shout out, wishing you happy birthday, happy anniversary or some kind of special occasion, you can get me to do it on there.”
Hilariously, the barbershop owner isn’t the only reality star selling his services. The show’s first lesbian bride, Amanda Micallef, is also willing to send a video your way but she’s charging far more than we anticipated seeing as her stint on MAFS was extremely short.
“‘I’m so excited to be the person that delivers that special message to your special someone! I’ll make sure I’ve got my hair and makeup done really nice to deliver that amazing message. I hope you choose I’m because I’ll make it awesome for you,” Amanda wrote on her Cameo profile, adding a message will cost $48.
Although other MAFS 2020 stars like Ivan Sarakula, Poppy Jennings and Aleks Markovic are also using the service, they’re now on the brink of finding international fame!
American cable network, Lifetime, recently announced it will be screening the latest season of the dating experiment in the United States. The series will premiere on May 27 and all 36 episodes of the rating juggernaut will be shown.
“I showed KC and she was like, ‘What? No way! That’s quite a big channel in the U.S. So I messaged the producer of the show with a link to the article about it and she wrote back, ‘Yep, 100 per cent true. Goony you’re going global,” said Michael Goonan when discussing the moment he discovered the news.
KC Osborne also reacted to the exciting announcement, hinting the exposure could help advance her career as a professional dancer.
“I love it, honestly. I used to watch the Lifetime Channel quite a bit because I’m a fan of Dance Moms and that’s a really big show over there. I don’t really care that we’re not getting paid for it being shown.
“I just think it’s great for the both of us. I’m so excited for my friends and everyone to see it over there. It could just open up more doors and I think Americans will really like it.”
