Married At First Sight’s Billy Vincent got a grilling from Susie Pearl’s dad, Steve at the wedding, and now he is back for round two.
But, this time he isn’t letting Billy get off easy.
During the homestays, Steve made a surprise visit to see how his daughter and Billy were going.
“Steve rocks up out of the blue and all I’m thinking is get me the f**k out of here I want to go home,” said Billy.
“Because at the wedding he made quite an impression on me, he definitely took the sail out of my wind.”
And, just like the wedding, it didn’t take long before Steve took Billy outside for a man-to-man chat.
“I had a phone call from my daughter and she was crying, I’m not happy with that,” Steve tells Billy. “I could not sleep so I came up to see you.”
Like any father, Steve is incredibly protective of Susie and he had a few words of warning for Billy.
“I don’t like many people and I’ll tell you right now, if you can’t handle her you’re a dead man,” he threatened.
Of course, it wasn’t all negative, Steve also gave Billy some advice to help his relationship with Susie.
“I need all the advice I can get,” laughed Billy, before Steve gave him some advice about his bickering with Susie.
“Fighting is good, I have been married for 25 years and we always argument with her and we’re still together,” he said.
“If you’re not fighting it means you’re not interested but you are so that’s good.”
