Married At First Sight‘s ladies’ night continued on Monday evening – and no surprises, it was never going to end well.

In a scene reminiscent of Cyrell and Martha’s epic red wine brawl of 2019, Stacey Hampton launched not one, but TWO objects at Hayley Vernon’s face.

Stacey had had enough. She was furious that Hayley would mock her law degree as something she got from a ‘cereal box’, and insinuated that it’s impossible to complete a university education by the age of 25 while raising two children.

‘You never liked me, Hayley. Which is why we’re here,’ Stacey said, referring to the bitter aftermath of Hayley’s hotel hookup with Stacey’s husband, Michael Goonan.

At the end of the table, Cathy Evans confirmed to Lizzie Sobinoff that Hayley has in fact, never liked Stacey. Was the cheating incident intentional?

Cathy added to viewers that Stacey’s reasons for being upset with Hayley were valid. First she hooked up with her husband, then she belittled her education achievements while raising her children, then, she took a stab at her ‘blonde hair.’

Then Lizzie stepped in. ‘Stacey was getting hammered and no one was standing up for her.’

Some of the other ladies agreed that Hayley shouldn’t have brought Stacey’s children into their argument, but Lizzie took it to the next level, standing in Hayley’s face while serving her some choice words.

She doesn’t owe you any explanation! About her kids, or anything!’ Lizzie roared.

‘Disgusting behaviour! You were… That is disgusting! You don’t go that low. That’s disgusting! You should feel ashamed of yourself for that shit. I’m walking out. That is disgusting,’ Lizzie ranted.

That’s when Stacey tied the confrontation of with an object, or two, to Hayley’s face.

Was it a corn cob? Was it a lemon? Was it a fish finger? Object number one started off on Stacey’s plate and ended up on Hayley’s face.

Then came object number two, a white napkin. Both were targeted, and both hit the target.
