Masterchef Australia viewers are not happy!
Following last night’s nail-biting team challenge, a number of enraged viewers flocked to Twitter to accuse fan-favourite Larissa Takchi of “sabotaging” the green team. Many fans of the Channel Ten cooking series claimed the aspiring chef didn’t give last night’s challenge her best shot as she knew she had an immunity pin to use in the upcoming elimination challenge.
“This challenge was structured wrong, Larissa had zero incentive to do well,” one user Tweeted after the green team were sent into elimination.
Another Australian viewer added: ‘If Larissa hasn’t set the green team up for a fall I will be amazed – She can redeem herself by not playing the pin at elimination.”
“Conspiracy: Did Larissa sabotage green team’s cook just so she could use her pin to go straight through to finals?”
Although she usually performs to the best of her ability, last night, Larissa’s dish— smoked chocolate ice cream with a wattleseed milk cookie and lilly pilly syrup— fell flat as it didn’t make sense to the judges.

“I don’t like it at well, I don’t like the smoke… it’s not nice,” Masterchef judge Gary Mehigan said as Matt Preston and George Calombaris nodded in agreeance.
The green team’s elimination challenge will air on the next episode of Masterchef and will see one unlucky Aussie cook be sent home
This isn’t the first time viewers have slammed the series.
On Monday night, fans slammed the judges after the “blonde squad”— Christina Laker, 29, Nicole Scott, 24 and Tessa Boersma, 27— secured their chance of advancing to the finals. Many took exception to their win, arguing there may have been ‘favouritism’ shown by the judges.
“The four middle aged guys picked the two bottle blondes… shocked,” one angry social media user wrote. “ONCE AGAIN all the blondes are safe,” another added, using a gif of Kim Kardashian rolling her eyes.
“Time to get the blonde dye out Anushka. Only chance you’ve got, lovely,” another viewer chimed in, referring to brunette contestant Anushka Zargaryan.
“Looking forward to two bottle blondes getting booted… favouritism is annoying. Please do better next season,” another angry fan said. “The blondes again! This is beyond rigged!”
