But on Tuesday night’s episode of the Channel Ten cooking show, Reynold Poernomo was turning heads for a completely different reason.

WATCH: Reynold sports what appears to be a hickey on MasterChef

Eagled-eyed MasterChef fans couldn’t help but point out a curious mark on the 26-year-old’s neck.

The distinctive bruise-like colouring and placement on his neck led many to speculate it was a hickey, or “love bite”.

Fans flocked to Twitter to point out Reynold’s mark, with some joking its appearance made it hard for them to concentrate on the cooking side of the competition.

“Reynold’s hickey was a huge distraction to the cooking tonight. #MasterChefAU spent the whole time trying to figure out what was going on with his neck. Masterchefs gone wild,” wrote one fan.

Another joked: “Can @10styling get Reynold a turtleneck for his next hickey please #MasterchefAU”.

Meanwhile, another fan wrote in jest that the reality TV contestant was having a great week, considering he also had immunity up his sleeve.

“A hickey and immunity. Reynold is a lucky boy #MasterChefAU,” they wrote.

A further tweet from another at-home viewer questioned:  “So is that a hickey or a pimple on Reynold’s neck??”

Another wistfully added: “Oh, to be a nationally famous dessert king with a hickey on my neck.”

Reynold has been a fan-favourite for much of the Back To Win season and with the finale fast-approaching, rumours are swirling that the dessert chef will make the final four.

However, it’s Melbourne-based cake maker Emelia Jackson who is currently the bookies’ favourite to win, with her odds sitting pretty at $1.35.

Right behind her is Laura Sharrad, who’s at $3.75, while Reynold trails behind with odds at $5.00.

Meanwhile, season one runner-up Poh Ling Yeow is currently predicted to be the fourth most likely contestant to take home the top prze.

Her odds are currently sitting at $10.00, while Callum Hann and Reece Hignell are outside chances.

MasterChef: Back To Win airs Sunday to Tuesday, 7.30pm on Channel Ten
