Last night’s episode of The Bachelor proved to break hearts around the nation – and not just Tara Palvolic’s when Matty J chose to evict her from the Bachie mansion.
While we were expecting it, the blow still took fans by surprise as several took to Matty J’s most recent Instagram post to vent their frustrations about his choice to let loveable larrikin Tara go.
“Tara is amazing and I know she will find someone for her but you really broke her heart @matthewdavidjohnson,” one wrote.
While others were cruder in their reactions.
“Most hated man in Australia!!!! @matthewdavidjohnson,” one wrote.
Another wrote: “You’re an idiot for not choosing Tara, biggest d**k ever for dropping her like that, have fun with boring sister Laura you guys won’t last and will regret not choosing Tara! You made the show shit now congrats!!!”
“You messed up and your going to regret that you ever let go of Tara!” one more commented.
And some even threatened to boycott by missing the final episode which airs tonight.
“Johnson you buggered up mate! Tara was the one – but guess you’ll never find out for sure! #boycottingfinalepisode#disgusted.”
Meanwhile, Tara, 27, is taking it all with a grain of salt. Well, at least her Instagram gives us that indication.
The reality star shared a snap of herself and Matty on a date and jokingly captioned it,”May not have got the man.. but I’m still heaps stoked about the free soft cheese and prawns he fed me. Would have cost like $30 at the supermarket. Thanks for the free feeds mate. All the best. 👍🏼”
After the episode aired, Tara shared a photo from the rose ceremony and noted that at the time she was “Wondering what pubs are open tonight…”
