Veteran Bachelor star Megan Marx has hinted that she might be married to partner Keith Newman in a strange new Instagram post.
Alongside a seemingly unrelated image of her standing in the water at the beach, Megan wrote “Picture this. You’re 32, meet the love of your life, and six months later you get married and move in together. As you’re setting up the garage, the love of your life brings in a bicycle with matching butt-padded lycra and wrap around sunnies and tells you they’re going to take up their first love again, cycling. They’re a cyclist. What do you do?”
While there was no specific reference to Keith, the couple did go Instagram official in January – six months ago.
While many commenters answered the question posed in the caption, others were quick to read between the lines.
“Wait is this a hypothetical? When did you get married …?!” one asked.
“Wait… you got married?!” another read.
“Was I the only one that didn’t know you got married?? Congratulations – wishing you happiness always. My advice after nearly 30 years of marriage – convert the bike to an ebike,” another commenter offered.
The influencer is yet to follow up on the bizarre post.
Megan has been a long-time favourite from The Bachelor franchise since her appearance on Richie Strahan’s season in 2016.
She voluntarily left the show, and then struck up a relationship with fellow contestant Tiffany Scanlon.
The pair didn’t quite go the distance, but Megan found love again on Bachelor in Paradise with Jake Ellis.
Their tumultuous relationship saw them together on and off for months at a time, with Jake eventually signing on to do the third season of Bachelor in Paradise, which he then left voluntarily to try his relationship with Megan once more.
However, they confirmed their final split in December last year, with Megan telling the Courier Mail that they had been broken up for quite some time.
Current beau and now potential husband Keith first appeared on her Instagram in January this year.
We’ll be waiting to see if she confirms the rumours that have now begun.
